Do What Thou Wilt

Christians hear the phrase “Do what thou wilt” and immediately panic, as if the words themselves summon darkness. But the truth is simple:
the idea of radical freedom didnt come from occultists Paul preached it long before anyone else.

We need to stop reacting to syllables and start understanding theology.

Paul Said It First Long Before Anyone Else

Before anyone tries to tie this phrase to wickedness, listen to Paul:

“All things are lawful unto me…”
1 Corinthians 6:12

He repeats it again for emphasis:

“All things are lawful for me…”
1 Corinthians 10:23

Paul was accused of promoting sin. Why?
Because he preached a freedom so real, so radical, so complete, that religious people thought it was dangerous.

Christian liberty has always sounded scandalous.

Christ didn’t just loosen the chains of the Law
He shattered them.
